Terms of Service

What we provide

DramaTexts is an AI chat video generator hosted at dramatexts.com. You can paste a conversation (typically generated with ChatGPT or Claude), customise it inside the in-browser editor, and export an MP4 video file to your device. The service is free to use with no account.

We may add or remove features, change limits (currently 3 exports per device per UTC day), or pause the service for maintenance without notice.

Your content, your responsibility

You retain full ownership of any text, images, or other content you paste into the editor or upload as message attachments. We claim no rights over your scenes or your exported videos.

However, you are solely responsible for what you create. Specifically:

• Don't impersonate real people in a way intended to defame, harass, or deceive.A fictional drama is fine. Fabricated "leaked screenshots" of a real person saying something they didn't say are not.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to use.If you upload an image you don't own and distribute the exported video, that's on you.
• Don't produce illegal content.Sexual content involving minors, content inciting violence, content promoting terrorism, and similar categories are absolutely prohibited. We'll cooperate with law enforcement if served with valid process.
• Don't use the service to harass, threaten, or defame. Cyberbullying is not what this tool is for.

We don't pre-review what users create — your scene lives in your browser, not on our servers. But if we're notified of misuse, we may block fingerprints or take other technical countermeasures.

Platform skins and trademarks

DramaTexts simulates the visual style of popular messaging apps (WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram Direct, Discord, Telegram) for creative and educational purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies. The respective logos and platform names are trademarks of their owners. We do not embed their logos in exports.

If you create content that closely resembles a real platform's UI, label it clearly as fiction when posting, especially on platforms like TikTok where context can be lost.

Acceptable use

By using DramaTexts, you agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source of the editor or its data layer.
• Automate exports beyond normal human use, or attempt to bypass the daily quota.
• Interfere with the service's normal operation (DDoS, exploit attempts, etc.).
• Use the service to commit fraud or violate any law in your jurisdiction.

Ads

DramaTexts is free because we show ads, served by Adsterra, on the homepage, template gallery, template detail pages, and the cap-reached page. The editor itself is intentionally ad-free. We don't control which specific ads appear; if you see something inappropriate, you can report it to Adsterra and we'll blocklist that category from our end.

Disclaimer of warranty

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uptime, export quality, video compatibility with any specific platform, or that the service will be free of bugs. Long renders on mobile devices may fail or take a long time — we provide quality and FPS controls so you can tune for your hardware.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, DramaTexts and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If you don't like the service, your remedy is to stop using it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that isn't resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts of India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when we add features, change pricing (currently: free), or react to legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
